I was given a school assignment to connect a piece of music to my photography. The song I chose is “Imagine” by John Lennon. I felt that Lennon was asking us to imagine a place where things that divide people (religion, possessions, skin color) do not exist. This world would be a better place. I spent a day in San Francisco photographing people seemingly from all works of life; young and old, fortunate and not so fortunate. Despite their differences, they are all connected together as one through the music.
